rice beer
recipe comes from a colleague. It is a baked rice very easy to do with good flavors of thyme and garlic. The rice does not taste particularly beer, but its slightly salty taste and scent is delicious. An alternative to potato which combines well with almost everything.

1 / 2 cup melted butter
2 / 3 cup finely chopped onion
chicken broth 1 ½ cups 2 ½ cups
beer 1 tablespoon tea thyme 2 tablespoons dried
tea garlic garlic salt
1 ¾ cup long grain rice
pepper to taste.

Mix everything in a baking pan and bake 1 hour at 350.
